Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) has today held a stakeholder workshop to create awareness on the rollout of the EFS sub-component under the INVITE Project. The participants at the workshop include manufacturers and export firms, as well as potential exporters in the Metropolitan Kampala area. Information on the 2nd Call for Proposal and experiences were shared to give the participants clarity on the application and eligibility requirements for the EFS Call.
The PSFU Chief Executive Officer Mr Stephen Asiimwe in his remarks intimated that INVITE is providing a huge value proposition through exposure, synergies and networks. “For the first time the Indian Ocean is connected to the First World”, he said adding that INVITE is taking advantage of that opportunity. The half day workshop comprised presentations on the INVITE Project and Components, Project Online Portal registration.
